A Streak of Fatal Whimsy

The often pointless, sometimes shameless, always aimless driveling of an aspiring writer and scholar, wherein you will find a collection of all the trivial internet bits and bobs she has been amassing in the years between the inception of the internet and the inception of Tumblr.

  1. Frog Autumn

    Summer grows old, cold-blooded mother.
    The insects are scant, skinny.
In these palustral homes we only
    Croak and wither.

    Mornings dissipate in somnolence.
    The sun brightens tardily
Among the pithless reeds. Flies fail us.
    he fen sickens.

Frost drops even the spider. Clearly
    The genius of plenitude
Houses himself elsewhwere. Our folk thin
    Lamentably.
